Tucker Carlson and Glenn Greenwald Defend UHURU Movement Against DoJ Indictment for Freedom of Speech

Thursday night Tucker Carlson at Fox News hosted Glenn Greenwald to defend the African People’s Socialist Party and Uhuru Movement (ASAP) against the indictment by the DoJ for speaking out against the Ukraine War. US Assistant Attorney General Matthew G. Olsen said that the 50-year-old black liberation movement was under the influence of Russia’s “maliign influence campaign. The indictment alleges the Russians were involved in a 2019 local election in St. Petersburg, Florida, one city where the APSP is based. “Russia’s foreign intelligence service allegedly weaponized our First Amendment rights – freedoms Russia denies its own citizens – to divide Americans and interfere in elections in the United States,” said Olsen.

Unfortunately, the video has been taken down from YouTube. Below is a shorter clip with only the second half of the segment.

In the first part, there are two clips of the UHURU Chairman.

  1. Greenwald has been all over the story and is not surprised that the establishment left who loves this war won’t touch the story except to want more time for these folks.
Tucker is not like that crazy nutter Hannity so his views on this war really upsets people and he understands this march towards authoritism is real.

    1. Tucker has his moments. Hannity has to be at the top of everyone’s list as the best of the best when it comes to snuggling one’s nose up another’s ass.

      1. I can not get Hannity off my TV as soon as Tucker is off ( Larry Elder drove me off to Greenwald early last night though;-)
He is the most insufferable hack that is on TV and there are a lot of them out there.

      2. Dude, you made me spill my coffee from laughing again. “…snuggling one’s nose up another’s ass.” Don’t try this at home, kids.

  2. They’re trying to make it illegal for Americans to oppose their wars of empire. This illegitimate prosecution will set an example to others who dare to challenge them.

The big lie of the U.S. being some beacon of freedom has been more exposed than ever by this kind of thing, which has gotten much worse since the U.S. proxy war against Russia. (“Freedom” is a loaded word anyway. Freedom to do what exactly? The founding genociders/slave owners cared about freedom to make money more than anything.) Sure, rich people are free to advertise their crap, in fact they’re free to force their damn advertisements on you (spectator sports and TV are perfect examples, but it’s way beyond those things now). But people aren’t free to say what they think about major political matters unless their thoughts are approved. Some freedom.

  3. They deleted the clip here but found it elsewhere. What Tucker said is 100% true.

What a bizarro world we live in that we have Tucker Carlson defending freedom of speech of black socialists and the “liberals” and self-proclaimed “progressives” cheering on the dismantling the First Amendment and jailing the real anti-war left just for expressing views that they do not like. Democrats have truly lost their way and the moral compass and have embraced authoritarianism for the benefit of the military industrial complex.

    1. That and the fact that so-called “leftists” support war, and the only opposition in Congress comes from Republicans (probably because there’s a Democrat in the White House and Republicans would rather fight China). Trump and Russiagate really broke everyone’s minds.
