That most Americans still believe "the Russians hacked" those DNC emails in 2016 is downright dangerous – the more so, as the clowns around President Joe Biden rally support for possible war with Russia.
Last year, as the corporate media began their third year of suppressing sworn testimony that there was no such hack of the DNC. I wrote this.
We are into our fourth year of suppression now and things are much more parlous. If you believe Russia hacked those emails that were so prejudicial to Mrs. Clinton, you’ve been had. It’s a Weapons-of-Mass-Destruction-scale deception, this time with the FBI, rather than CIA, playing the lead role.
The truth has been kept hidden. And it’s worse than a case of the usual corporate media malpractice. The evidence points to the cover-up of a murder.
Damning Testimony
On Dec. 5, 2017, Shawn Henry, head of the cyber firm Crowdstrike gave sworn testimony to the House Intelligence Committee:
Mr. Schiff: Do you know the date on which the Russians exfiltrated the data from the DNC?
Mr. Henry: There are times when we can see data exfiltrated, and we can say conclusively. But in this case, it appears it was set up to be exfiltrated, but we just don’t have the evidence that says it actually left."
These words – "set up to be exfiltrated" – in the view of two former NSA Technical Directors, strongly suggests that someone with access to DNC computers "set up" selected emails for copying to an external storage device – a thumb drive, for example.
The Internet is not needed for such a copy/transfer. Use of the Internet would have been detected, enabling Henry to pinpoint any "exfiltration" over that network. In addition, William Binney, one of the former NSA technical directors, in a court case has filed a sworn affidavit, stating:
"Intrinsic metadata in the publicly available files on WikiLeaks demonstrates that the files acquired by WikiLeaks were delivered in a medium such as a thumb drive."
What’s the Big Deal?
Well, for starters, Shawn Henry’s testimony gives the lie to intelligence "assessments" and to Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s findings based on those spurious assessments. These are still widely believed by media consumers indoctrinated to hate Russia at a time of unprecedented tension.
Still more embarrassing, and in need of covering up, is the unavoidable conclusion that those emails were copied from DNC computers onto an external storage device by someone with the necessary access.
Worse, the FBI has been disingenuous in concealing what it knows about the whole affair. Still more Bureau foot-dragging and other shenanigans have come to light since I wrote this in Dec. 2020.
Cover the Shawn Henry up: Serious truth seekers might become more aware of the possible implications of it being a leak, and one which may have cost the leaker his life. In other words, a serious investigator with a modicum of courage might be able to figure the whole thing out, even if the FBI continues to slow walk the affair in hopes it will go away.
And so it goes.

If it becomes undeniable that it went out by thumb drive, won’t their go to response be that the Russians obviously had a mole in HQ and did that?
They usually at that point just call you a Russia lover and ignore the thumbdrive.
And definately don’t bring up who is suspected of the leaks.

And while it doesn’t look to me like “the Russians” had anything to do with it, so what if they did?
The whole DNC case is “shame on whoever SHOWED you what we DID! We’re not to blame for DOING it, they’re the bad guys for EXPOSING it!”
Whoever gave the emails to WikiLeaks did the public a great service, and the DNC doesn’t want the public to notice that.
Those emails were so fun.
I used to go on crazy Glenn Beck’s The Blaze when he was a Hillary lover and post those. They’d suspend me (but would not remove my post with the email that made Hillory and the Dems look bad. The mods were underpaid former fastfood workers or something equally unqualified) and I’d have new Discus accounts ready to go for the next post bashing Hillary and Crazy Glenn with yet another email of her friends.

Dmitri needed to make a living in the West and he likely supported himself in some manner by his peddling of his lies to the media and various think tanks in DC.

All the Russiagate BS is totally made up by the Democratic Party as an excuse for losing to Donald Trump. There was never any doubt about this, it was clear from Day 1.

Hillary did not “lose” the election. She won the popular vote. That is democracy. She lost the electoral college vote. That cancelled democracy. “Hacks” did not cause her to lose. She won. The electoral college has to go. Of course, when the 6 conservatives on SCOTUS get through with things, it will not matter any more.
I agree with you about abolishing the electoral college, it’s totally undemocratic. However, in our current system, you have to win the electoral college vote in order to win the presidency, and Clinton lost that vote. Therefore, she lost the election, her victory in the popular vote notwithstanding.
The even-second-rounding pattern (indicative of a FAT file system) doesn’t necessarily prove the files were exfiltrated by thumbdrive, it’s a reasonable explanation but it’s not the only explanation possible (see: Zip implemenations on Linux around 2016). – That said, it looks like the truth about the DNC email acquisition has been concealed by those trusted to investigate it.
We’ve still not been told the truth about what happened at the DNC.
Somehow, the DNC, CrowdStrike, FBI and DOJ all missed Luis Miranda’s emails being exported on May 23, 2016 (and, it appears, an export from Brinster’s mail box on May 21, 2016.)
They missed the first quarter of the DNC’s emails being exported and missed initial activity by at least 48 hours.
SCO Mueller timeline only picks up events from May 25, 2016 onwards. The start of the DNC email exfiltration is missing from their output. Four years on from the public disclosure of the redacted Mueller report, the DOJ are still yet to account for this.

The “leaker” who lost his life was Seth Rich, a 27-year old DNC staffer who supported Bernie Sanders, and who was murdered in Washington, D.C on July 10, 2016. Two gun shots in the back. D.C. police said Rich was the victim of a “random burglary,” but nothing was taken, not his expensive watch, nor his money, nor his credit cards, nor his cell phone.
According to Seymour Hersh: “What the [FBI] report says is that sometime in late spring/early summer, [Seth Rich] makes contact with Wikileaks. That’s in his computer … [Rich] had submitted … some juicy emails from the DNC … He offered an extensive sample … and said, ‘I want money’ … Anyway Wikileaks got access … It’s a Brennan operation. [Russiagate] was an American disinformation operation …”
Seth Rich had to be eliminated before Russiagate could be perpetrated.
Ray, for what it’s worth I knew from the beginning that the DNC story was bullshit. Hillary had a long history of double dealing and lying for years. Her previous “cattle futures” investing was just another bit of Hillary treachery that got my attention. I was in local law enforcement and worked with the Secret Service during the late nineties. Without going into details, some of the agents I worked with viscerally hated her guts. Chelsea was a chip off the old block. What I find so amazing is how many people, especially women, worshipped this evil piece of work. Whatever happened to her to her low IQ and embarrassing brother Hugh? So many things. And yes, I have NEVER believed the cover story surrounding the murder of Seth Rich. I believe he was going to spill the beans and had downloaded damning information onto a thumb drive.
Watching the scummy Adam Schiff tell lie after lie while in congress, knowing he had immunity, was absolutely sickening. The real problem is an electorate that believes information from a government controlled media like babies being fed Pablum. The lack of critical thinking is terminal….
