  1. Friends and family of mine back Israel in the genocide. They have this idea framed in their minds that it was Israel that had been occupied for 75 years, plus enduring a blockade the last 16 years.

    1. Oh yea; same here. But mine are a little queasy sometimes about the numbers.

      My father was against the Iraq war, until it happened, then felt compelled to support it. He doesn’t seem to even remember opposing it.

      He instinctively hates war, but he feels he must support “our side.”

      But the nation isn’t the state.
