Senate Moves To Seize The Internet – Do We Need More Government Censorship?

Senator Mark Warner’s (D-VA) office has drawn up a proposal for the US government to become much more involved in the Internet and particularly social media. They tell us for our own good they must protect us from “disinformation” and be able to determine the identity of each social media account as well as the user’s location. Ironically – or not – this is pretty much what the Chinese government is doing with its social media and search engines. Is this the direction we should be heading? Is there a better solution? 1. Global instant media rich communications. Ever since the general public at large, the world over, began communicating directly with each other it has triggered just about every government there is. Especially the empire, who has depended upon the safely locked down radio and television mediums in order to maintain cover for its lies and crimes. They have been first trying to understand how to even approach the problem of “locking down The Internet”, and they still don’t know squat. Not to worry, there’s plenty of spineless amoebae to do their bidding in the tech world. Nobody wants to “rock the boat”….

    1. Unfortunately, you are correct. There are far too many Zuckerbergs, and far too few Assanges.

  2. Brexit, Trump’s election, the Italian election etc have unhinged the elites. They are going full tyranny mode.

    1. Yes, you are right. The countermove is to create alternative platforms–blockchains.
