.In talks at San Jose Peace & Justice Center and in Santa Cruz, historian David Swanson revealed the truth behind the lies that led to the wars held sacred by many — the American Revolution, the Civil War and World War II.
War is a lie. I wish people like Danny Sjursen and David Swanson were in the MSM and informed people about the truth about war and foreign affairs. There should also be education reforms teaching about the bad things the US has done and is still doing. In history class, we are taught democracies don’t start unprovoked wars and don’t commit war crimes.
So many people say “Israel is the only democracy in a bad neighborhood”. Israel is a semi-democracy and makes the neighborhood bad. Israel was South Africa’s only Middle Eastern Ally during Apartheid there and helped it build nuclear weapons.
So many people say Russia rigged the election of 2016 in Trump’s favor. Trump, Obama and many other presidents have staged coups and rigged elections in Developing Nations so they would have leaders suitable to the US even if they are dictatorial and unsuitable to the majority of people in those nations.
And Andrew Bacevich.
Neither Sjursen or Bacevich urge the soldiers performing the killings for the US to stand down and refuse to serve.

strewn out as pieces of a human jig-saw puzzle
taking home
