Israeli Party Leader: Hamas is a Strategic Asset

“The P.A. is a liability and Hamas is an asset. On the international playing field, in this game of the delegitimization think about for a second, the P.A. is a liability and Hamas is an asset. It’s a terrorist organization. Nobody will recognize it, nobody will give it status at the ICC and nobody will let them push resolutions at the UN and they’ll need an American veto or we won’t need one.

“I’m not sure at all that given the current situation given the current facts that the central playing field we’re playing in is international there Abu Mazen (Abbas) is costing us serious casualties and Hamas in such a situation would be an asset. I don’t think we need to be afraid of that [Hamas taking over].” — Bezalel Smotrich, leader of Israel’s Religious Zionist Party

    1. A big bunch of “blah, blah, blah”, obscuring the intentions of Israel under Zionist control: a “greater Israel” from the desert to the sea, which can be obtained only by splintering Palestinian communities with settlements that will continue gobbling up Palestinian homes, occasionally rendering communities to rubble.

Zionism is not a movement to compromise with anyone. It is a movement to acquire. Land, resources (oil, natural gas).

      That is all.

      1. Odd, all you are offering is, “blah, blah, blah”. Have a read or view?

    2. Israel helped to spawn Hamas and the US and UK helped to spawn Al-Qaeda and ISIS. The US, UK and Israel could also spawn something else that spawn faster than salmon swimming upstream.
They spawn things to have a reason for war. Everything happens for a reason, some things, like these things happen for bad reasons.
