Time and time again the US military makes the headlines. Most recently in connection with the Ukraine war. But hardly anyone knows how the US military power can do whatever it wants in Germany to this day. In doing so, it is dragging Germany into a disastrous war dynamic.
Of course the U.S. military wants to stay at 119 bases in Germany, prostitution is legal there. Lots of East European women for €150.
Angela Merkel was good about not getting Germany involved in the USA’s wars including the one in Libya. She should have gone further by withdrawing Germany from NATO, shutting down US bases and ending aid to Israel and Saudi Arabia and criticized the US more harshly about spying on its allies and saying Julian Assange should be released.
