Facebook Censors Seymour Hersh Nord Stream Report on Norway’s Orders

From Rising at The Hill:

Journalist Michael Shellenberger discusses his finding that Facebook appears to be censoring long-time investigative reporter Seymour Hersh.

Facebook not only warns the reader against believing Hersh’s reports, but warns people who post them may get their accounts penalized by “reducing distribution or be restricted in other ways.”

    1. It’s “On Norway’s Disorders”. The Norwegians should elect a PM that would close US Bases, Withdraw from NATO & end its support for Israel, Saudi Arabia & Ukraine. They of course won’t do that.

      1. Hersh and Norway have not liked each other prior to this current kerfuffle but his reporting about Vietnam has upset them too:
However, according to Hersh’s claims, citing a source “within the intelligence community,” the CIA and the US Navy also carried out some of their secret missions using the fast attack boats sold by Norway. Some of these boats were even manned by Norwegian officers and crew.”https://eurasiantimes.com/n

  1. All the MSM and social media outlets censoring opposing views is disgusting. The first amendment matters.

  2. I must say this mention of Norway has me conflicted…
I love my Nordic noir for mindless relaxation in front of the TV sometimes….lol.
Perhaps this is why Norway is so upset with the old guy?:
“…Norway subsequently used these boats to assist the CIA in its covert operations against North Vietnam during the Vietnam war, much before the US official got involved in the conflict.

In mid-1964, the US-backed South Vietnam started carrying out raids involving land-to-shore radar and military installations bombardments along the North Vietnamese coast, using mortars, rockets, and recoilless rifles fired by South Vietnamese commandos from patrol boats.

The US Defense Department oversaw these raids with the support of the CIA.

Meanwhile, the US Navy also conducted occasional reconnaissance and SIGINT-gathering missions farther offshore in the Tonkin Gulf, called the ‘Desoto patrols’ which involved destroyers carrying out patrols to gather valuable information for these raids, such as locations of coastal radar transmitters and navigation aids along the North Vietnamese coastline.

However, according to Hersh’s claims, citing a source “within the intelligence community,” the CIA and the US Navy also carried out some of their secret missions using the fast attack boats sold by Norway. Some of these boats were even manned by Norwegian officers and crew.https://eurasiantimes.com/nasty-norway-not-only-sabotaged-nord-stream-pipelines/
He broke a unspoken rule of media: the US has no one involved and certainly not European countries, in anything we do.

  3. Large social media platforms like Facebook are just part of the U.S. propaganda machine, same as corporate/mainstream/establishment media. So of course they won’t allow probably the best journalist of his generation to publish the truth about evil deeds of the U.S.

If social media platforms censor stories like Facebook is doing here, they should be considered publishers and lose their section 230 protection against being sued for defamation. If they want that protection, they need to act like platforms and not censor anything.

  4. Aside from coordinating family holiday Get Togethers, Facebook is a useless, mind-numbing pile of crap.

    1. I know! When all of my friends started using Facebook, I told them that they have my email address, phone No., and street address, and to contact me in one of those ways. Social media like Facebook substitutes virtual living for real living, in addition to all the harm it causes to people’s brains.
