The State Is the Health of War

In 1918, Randolph Bourne made the case that “war is the heath of the state,” meaning that in a time of war, governments are able to use the existence of an external enemy to justify power grabs the population would not go along with in a time of peace.

The inverse is also true. The state is the health of war.

Wars are much more likely to occur when one group has a monopoly right to print money, issue taxes, compel schooling, conscript citizens into the military, and has a legal double standard which allows mass murder to go unpunished under the guise of “foreign policy.”

  1. Keith Knight wrote a great article. What we are taught in school is that the USA was always in the right & its enemies were always in the wrong. That is not the case. The US has a long history of causing unprovoked wars.
Empires die out when the misleaders of the nations can no longer sustain them. WWI & many other wars could have been avoided if the heads of state gave peace a chance. Afghanistan is called “The Graveyard of Empires”, that’s where empires slowly but surely die out. The NATO countries were there 2x as long as the Russians were there.
9/11, the Pulse Nightclub shooting & certain other atrocities were committed due to US wars drone strikes & support for Israel.

    1. War is caused by civilization. “Civilization” means living in densely populated urban areas, which are by definition overpopulated ecologically. Therefore, civilizations have to make war on their neighbors, because they can’t live on just the resources of their own areas due to their overpopulation.

Derrick Jensen has done some excellent writing on this subject if you’re interested.

  2. Apr 9, 2023 2023 Film Fest – Day 1: Discussion of “A Force More Powerful”

Day 1 of World BEYOND War’s 2023 virtual film fest, “Celebrating Stories of Nonviolence,” starts with a panel discussion of “A Force More Powerful.” “A Force More Powerful” is a documentary series on how nonviolent power overcame oppression and authoritarian rule.

  3. And hence why this monopolizing force tries to limit any form of resistance within itself. Hence why all the legislations and bans. At this point I dunno what’s going to get banned next. Extended magazines? Already banned in some states. Silencers? Yep. I feel like going to be stuff like scopes/red dots(stuff like halosun optics i.e https://gritroutdoors.com/holosun/ ).

  4. I am sure that you already know this.

There is no need to ask who are the biggest war criminals on the planet – spreading democracy, human rights and freedoms.

So hypocritical, lying, primitive and evil, Humans can never be (because they have something of the sense of shame and dignity in them), but only Satanists and Satans – but most people who consider themselves and all others primates/ apes, can hardly understand it.

The so-called “civilization” of the whites (I am also white, but a stranger among most of the whites) is based on bestial-stanic basis: “Homo homini lupus est”.

The complete idiots were not, and the today’s are not Humans. Although all live in similar primate bodies, Humans differ from them like the day from the night.
Humans are wonderful beings who like to help the others, to share, to give, to cooperate honestly … and do not even want to harm the ants.

The majority of the non-whites are also not “angels”, but they can never compete with the infinite evilness of the whites (which lies behind the hypocritical/ false politeness).

    1. It’s the kind of thing I’d expect from a country founded on murdering the Natives, stealing their land, kidnapping Africans and enslaving them to work the land, and destroying the land and the native wildlife. The U.S. is the evil empire as even George Lucas noticed when he made Star Wars.
