Dave DeCamp Talks About Victoria Nuland in Niger on Rising at The Hill

Antiwar.com News Editor Dave DeCamp appeared this morning on Rising at The Hill to explain Victoria Nuland’s visit to Niger. Acting Deputy Secretary of State Nuland traveled to Niger and met with members of the junta that ousted Nigerien President Mohamed Bazoum in a July 26 coup. She met with General Moussa Salaou Barmou to voice “concerns” over the coup. General Barmou was trained by US special forces.

The Biden Administration has backed threats of military intervention to reinstate Bazoum made by the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS). The US has been cooperating militarily with Niger for many years and has about 1,100 troops in the country, along with a major drone base. Burkina Faso, Mali, and Guinea have vowed to oppose any intervention, which could put the US into another proxy war.

  1. Great job, Mr. DeCamp. I appreciate you getting on the show and making some great points.

  2. It isn’t good enough for Victoria Nuland that there is a proxy war going on in Ukraine so she wants one in Niger as well. She wants wars to go on everywhere except in the US & Israel whether the US is directly fighting in the war or not. She, Biden & many other people have blood on their hands & are bloodthirsty natural born killers.
