A Personal Message From Eric Garris

Dear Readers,

I never thought the situation in Palestine could become this dire. It is clear that the goal of the Israeli government is total war against all Palestinians in Gaza. The Israelis told Gaza citizens to leave the north to avoid being bombed, and then they started bombing the south. Now they are planning for a year-long war.

Israel is deliberately targeting civilians. “The emphasis is on damage and not on accuracy,” Israel Defense Forces official Daniel Hagari said.

This week, the US House of Representatives voted to equate anti-Zionism with anti-Semitism (not just anti-Israel). I am not sure how many members of Congress even understand what Zionism means. The Biden Administration has stated that it places no conditions on how Israel uses the massive military shipments being sent to Israel. Congress is about to send even more money for war in Gaza, while the majority of Americans now support a permanent ceasefire.

Our task at Antiwar.com has become monumental. We have expanded our coverage. US support for the war in Ukraine and the budding war against China is still going full speed but Palestine is the focal point. All of us opposing this slaughter are also under attack for simply calling for peace.

We are struggling to keep up with all this. But will continue providing the truth without paywalls and without reservation.

We are beginning another fund drive because we have to.

I hope you are willing and able to provide this support.

Thank you,

Eric Garris

  1. It is a shame that one has to have an allegiance to Israel to be elected although there are not that many exceptions to the rule. Many Congress Members and Senators want BDS to be illegal and ban demonstrations against Israel’s mistreatment of Arabs.

  2. How bloody long can this keep going on with so much silence? The US helped to create the Israeli Monster… What is the total price tag on what WE have spent on this sh-t?

  3. I have been waiting and watching the slowness, in terms of raising money, here at our good home, ANTIWAR.COM.

EVERYONE NEEDS TO OPEN UP THEIR WALLETS AND PURSES AND PUT SOME SPEED BEHIND THE BALL.

ANTIWAR NEEDS The HELP Of ALL Of US.AND WE NEED THE HELP OF IT.

    1. Anyone know – does a donation to antiwar.com count as a charitable donation for tax purposes inside and/or outside the United States (i.e. Canada, UK ) ?

        1. Oh, and here’s me actually reading the homepage header (I have mild Wikipedia Pledge Syndrome; I see a banner ad soliciting donations and automatically ignore everything it says) and discovering that yes of course donations in the USA are tax-deductible.

So I revise then my question, what about in countries outside the USA ?
