WHICH ‘safe haven,’ Mr. Obama?

If things run on schedule, Mr. Obama will announce tomorrow that he and his organization will be sending approximately 34,000 more U.S. troops to harass and sometimes kill men, women and children (as “collateral damage”) in Afghanistan.  And then he has to sell his unpopular decision. If previous statements are any guide, his main excuse will be “We have to deny al’Qaeda ‘safe haven’.”

Question: “If you believe the official mythology,

1. “In what country did the 911 al’Qaeda pilots get ‘safe haven‘ to train

2. “In what country did the Madrid train bombers get ‘safe haven‘ to prepare?

3. “In what country did the London bombers get ‘safe haven‘?”

HINT: It’s NOT Afghanistan.

The answers to the three questions are:

 1. U.S.A.

 2. Spain

 3. England

How many troops will Mr. Obama send to THESE terrorist states to deny al’Qaeda ‘safe haven?’

By way of context, there are approximately 193 countries in the world, each of which can supply al’Qaeda with equivalent ‘safe haven.’

According to CIA and military intelligence sources, currently there aren’t 100 al’Qaeda operatives in all of Afghanistan.  So, Mr. Obama, what are your other excuses?

  1. You guys just don’t get it do you? We have to fight them over there so that we don’t have to fight them over here. If we are not over there fighting a primitive population with half a gazillion armed-to-the teeth-troops, they will come over here (intact with their turbans, goats, eye-patches, et. al) and fight us in the streets of New York. This is why President Obama (a man anointed with the Nobel Peace Prize by the enlightened souls in that bastion of progressivism, Norway) is sending more troops over there so that we can retain our freedoms over here. Don’t you get it? They hate our freedoms and our liberties. That is why they’re fighting us in their own country. And you have the nerve to question our foreign policy, upon which our fundamental freedoms and liberties depend? Shame!

  2. I don't think they want to stay, but they are too embarrassed to admit defeat or at best a stalemate.

  3. The war in Afghanistan is insane. There´s no evidence that Taleban know anything about 9/11 before it happened. The reason is the oil/gas pipeline from Turkmenistan to Karachi taking gas and oil from five Central Asian countries to United Bluff. Unfortunately, most people are brainwashed bonkers, it seems. The whole insane operation is to make the US use more oil and gas to heat the planet even more. But of course, it´s worth dying for – getting more oil/gas to United Bluff.

  4. A better immigration policy (or no immigration) and changing our foreign policy would make us much safer then the current ludicrous invade/invite the world that now stands.

  5. Bush III, wrath of the Military Industrial Complex. welcome to your consignment to HELL, puppet Obombya!

  6. Well, I think most thinking people (which is to say people outside the USA) understand by now that the Sept. 11th "terrorist" attack was in fact staged by America itself.

9-11 was the "New Pearl Harbor" that was long desired by American elites (like PNAC) to launch America's global blitzkreig (aka War of Terrorism).

The USA has not only genocided well over 1 million people in Iraq and Afghanistan, but it murdered its own people to launch this bogus Terror War.

In short, America–self-styled Land of the Free–is guilty of one of the greatest crimes in human history.

Makes you real proud to be an American, don't it?

  7. Basic military strategy demands that you take the high ground, that you protect your rear, that you protect your flanks, and of course protect your supplies. With completely open borders – it is kind of difficult to have a war on terror when one does NOT protect one's rear and flanks? In the 9/11 attack, 3000 Americans were murdered. Since then over 100,000 Americans have been murdered by other Americans. Has anyone heard the President or anyone in Congress mention how crime is ravaging America? War in Afghanistan is ALL about the oil / gas pipeline though that country. "War is a Racket" – written by Marine Smedly Butler – details how war is ALL about Corporate profits! War is about the 'American empire' as designed by the Neocons and Zionists! 'They' hate US because we keep killing hundreds of thousands of them! As Krushchev predicted: "We don't have to worry about the U.S., they will spend themselves out of existence."

We Really Do Regret to Inform You
Here is a form letter that I think would be appropriate for use by the Obama Administration. No apologies needed to be given to A. Lincoln as he is dead and because he had the courage to stand up against his generals.

    The White House
Washington, DC. [fill in the date]

    Dear Sir(s) and/or Madam(s):

I have been informed by the database of the War Department that you are the father or mother of a child or children, some other close relative, or the significant other of a same sex partner we have not been officially informed about, who have died, as they agreed to risk doing when they signed with any of the branches of our military, from an improvised explosive device, suicide bomber or an unfortunately targeted drone bomb. I feel how weak and fruitless must be any word of mine which should attempt to beguile you from the grief of a loss so overwhelming. But I cannot refrain from tendering you the consolation that may be found in the thanks of the United States of America, and the Islamic Something of a Republic of Afghanistan, which they died to create, or at least keep going until I can figure a way out of the region. I pray that our Heavenly Person may assuage the anguish of your bereavement, and leave you only the cherished memory of the loved and lost, and the solemn pride that must be yours to have laid so costly a sacrifice upon the altar of whatever it is we are trying to achieve over there.

    Yours, very sincerely and respectfully,

    B. Obama

  9. The US is engaged in militry operations against many so clled terrorist groups that never targeted the US!
