Old man with long beard apparently murdered in Abbottabad, Pakistan

OK, this is the first anniversary of the U.S. apparently killing someone with a long beard in Abbottabad, Pakistan. The new spin is that Mr. Obama, making a "gutsy call," took the high-risk course of sending in "boots on the ground" rather than using a drone.

Aside from Mr. Obama being "gutsy" because he told folks to go do something dangerous, well, heck, go jump off a bridge. Now I’M gutsy. Right?

The new spin on why Mr. Obama decided on that high-risk (to someone else) course is that he wanted to be sure they actually got bin Laden. What’s that say about the men, women and children they murder with normal drone strikes?

But never mind, the reason given makes sense — they wanted to be able to prove the guy they murdered really was THE Osama bin Laden. Rather than, say, a body double or case of mistaken identity.

So, then, why did they bury the body at sea where no one could make sure it was THE bin Laden? And why shoot the highest-value information-laden target of all time in the head immediately, before he could talk, especially since he wasn’t armed and didn’t resist. And they still don’t want to release photos because, well – – – – ah – – –

  1. I don’t think they actually killed him, I think they “found” him, maybe shit him in the leg, then too him to a gitmo like prison to be tortured then due off. I mean he wanted to bankrupt us & take us out of Muslim lands, what twisted way than to stick him in a cell, then everyday show him vids of dead Arabs & drone strikes? I mean after 9/11 he was the most “evil man known to man” why would you just shoot him in the head & be done with it? Idk maybe not…

  2. On the other hand, why not ask The Bearded One's wifes? Or the Bin Laden family? I hear it is well-established and extensive.

    1. Good idea, El Tonno. Harder to fake. But that assumes all the members of the family were given the truth – – – and are willing to tell it — especially if they think it wasn't THE bin Laden — in public. Without CIA spin.

Either way, the body wasn't deep-sixed by mistake. They water boarded Ossama's driver and some-time cook for months in an attempt to extract every shred of information from him. So now they immediately shoot the highest value target in history in the head without any interrogation. Why? And while they did release very gruesome pictures of Saddam, his sons, Gaddaffi, etc. but not bin Laden's? Why? Every tiny detail in such missions is pre-planned and rehearsed so clearly the body was deep-sixed with fore-thought in a way that couldn't be undone. Why?

And most disturbing of all, the Main Stream Media didn't ask ANY of these obvious questions. Why?

      1. > Main Stream Media didn't ask ANY of these obvious questions. Why?

Because …. Oh look, Lindsay Lohan is being exploited!!!

        1. Too facile El Tonno……. and overly flippant too ……….about the most important event of our times…. It's the lynchpin of every crime plus the negation of all our rights….!!!!! What is a Tonno anyway…………. 2OOO Pounds of Bull ecretement…??? Like Ron Johnson, I smell a rat… I think I'll let L. Reichard White prosecute this case…….

    2. You know it is 'well-established and extensive' because…who told you again? I forget. Was it an independent researcher? Or did that info come from the administration that has the most to gain by being know as the killer of Bin Laden?

    3. The war is going to give bad impact for those who experience it. You really should avoid war because it is a bad thing ever done by humans without clear reasons.San Antonio Mover

  3. Another publicity stunt. Typical election stuff. I didn't know the MSM didn't question this obvious lie. But then I stopped watching MSM decades ago. I have to ask my wife to confirm statements about MSM. This atheist says: "Thank god for the net." If I didn't have it for news, I wouldn't get the news. I have come to the conclusion that watching MSM is bad for your mental health. It depresses and upsets me. I watched 60 minutes interview the CIA torture chief and wanted to jump up and yell at the TV. Leslie blew it! I miss Mike. I know, I know, I just contradicted myself. (60 M. is MSM) It used to be (20 years ago) HALF way decent. I keep hoping it will come back from the dark side.

    1. Once you cross over to the dark side, there is no way back. Then they start hatching their own breed, and the new breed does not even have a soul/conscience. They can ramble on about "human rights' and at the same time talk of the most disguisting things done to humans all in the name of their own definition of humanity. I do not have hope for those. MSM is a nation of Borg. When they focus on someone, they know the resistance is futile. The only hope is to stay invisible and not become a target.

  4. “The only hope is to stay invisible and not become a target. ”

I tried that, back in the 1990’s. It worked until I travelled to Arkansas for a vacation, to see old friends.

While driving back home through Tenn. on I-40, I was stopped and removed from my truck and interrogated for a long time by some narc with a dog. The narc kept asking about my pickup camper, how much he’d like to have one. I didn’t know if this was a shakedown for cash or they were about to seize my truck.

The narc asked to search the camper. I thought, if I say ‘no’, they will pretend to see something, search it anyways, and wreck everything inside. So under duress I agreed to the search and they found nothing, and finally let me go.

They claimed I was stopped for failure to use a turn signal when the roadway detoured to the westbound bridge in a construction zone. There was no need for signals, just slow down (which I did) and follow the white lines.

The real reason I was stopped: I’m white trash, but I have long hair and a beard, and Maine license plates.

So the moral of the story is, everyone is visible and a target. Our only hope is solidarity, and never give up.

  5. Well we call a suicide bomber a coward while someone who launches a bomb from 26,000 ft in the air is a hero. So by that standard Obama must be 'gutsy'.

  6. By the way, Osama BL died in 2006 from his kidney disease. The person they killed in Abbotabad was a younger brother who was trying to imitate him to carry on his 'work'. Osama, as you recall, had 52 siblings. He was #17.

    1. Hi Roger!

I certainly believe that, but would sure appreciate a link to some documentation more skeptical folks would find harder to dismiss out of hand.

    1. A war would only give a lot of misery and hardship for people. The war is going to bring a lot of trouble to many people and countries who experience it. It's a bad thing.

  7. Love this quote: Aside from Mr. Obama being "gutsy" because he told folks to go do something dangerous, well, heck, go jump off a bridge. Now I’M gutsy. Right?

  8. There was pictures of Bin Ladens dead body and video if I remember correctly. Still a bit dubious about the whole thing though. Surely there would be some evidence of him getting 'buried at sea'. or maybe they just got him alive in his own little Guantanamo, where only presidents and ex presidents know about it and they can go and kick the sh1t out of him whenever they need to relieve some tension! 9. We call upon our Muslim people in Pakistan, on whose land Sheikh Osama was killed, to rise up and revolt to cleanse this shame that has been attached to them by a clique of traitors and thieves.

  10. When we shot them I thought that the brutes were suspiciously tame, and this was, as we afterwards ascertained, the cause of it. Thus it came about that in attempting to show off we had committed sacrilege of a most aggravated nature.

  11. If he was a wizard we all would end up dying by now, thanks got he is just a old man, rephrase that he is just a old powerful scary, long beard old man who is rumored to be dead.

  12. Death of a man in Pakistan should immediately be disclosed by the police because this is no small thing. In my opinion, if this is not immediately resolved will inevitably arise many criminal cases in this country.stair lifts

  13. The same reason that officers are required to wear clip on ties so that they can not be strangled with regular ties, a long beard presents a problem to the personal safety of the officer.

  15. Maybe, but what can you say about a target audience that considers watching dirty movies or dyeing your beard a bigger offense than murdering thousands of people.

  20. Aparently, a long beard, admits Kuwaiti female columnist Khulood Al-Khamis, who stunned readers with a love letter she wrote for the terror mastermind, who was killed by the US, in Abbottabad, Pakistan, this week. In her letter, in her column in the Kuwaiti Arabic daily Al-Qabas, Al-Khamis described Bin Laden as the man of her dreams,.

  24. Why Pakistan cannot live without Washington is well known, given the pitiable state of its donors' economy about which neither the civilian leadership nor the all-powerful Army can do much without sustained inflow of US greenbacks.

  25. That bin Laden was a planner and never a fighter should come as no shock to anyone. His fantasy was that he was a reincarnation of the prophet that everyone would flock to. Dying his beard is an affectation that most men do
